Victory Bank Announces New Hires and Promotion - Giunta, Woodland, and Benson

The Victory Bank named Joseph A. Giunta, Business Development, H. Steen Woodland, II Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager; and Sarah Benson, Junior Credit Analyst.

Joseph A. Giunta joined the Victory Bank to serve in Business Development. In his new position, Giunta will develop new relationships with clients looking to enhance their financial goals.

Giunta with over 40 years of banking experience, retired from Phoenixville Federal Bank as Vice President of New Business Development and Workout Officer. In addition, he was a licensed sales agent and notary public at ReMax Achievers. A resident of Schwenksville, he graduated with an Associate's degree from Ursinus College. He furthered his education at the PBA Banking School of Commercial Lending, Bucknell University.

Giunta presently is Mayor of the Borough of Schwenksville and a member of the Spring-Ford Rotary Club. Also, he formerly served as president and member of the Board of Directors of Spring-Ford Chamber of Commerce, former treasurer and board member of the Perkiomen Valley Academy, a former member of the board of directors of the Montgomery County Operative Extension, and past adjunct professor for the American Institute of Banking, Bucks County Community College.

H. Steen Woodland, II joined the Victory Bank to serve as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager. In his new position, Woodland will analyze commercial clients’ financial situations and develop strategic solutions to meet their short and long term goals.

Woodland with over 35 years of banking experience, formerly served as Vice President, Senior Commercial Lender/Relationship Management/Commercial Loan Department Manager at Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust. A resident of Hatfield, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Muhlenberg College. In addition, he furthered his education at the PBA Banking Schools-General Bank and Commercial Lending, Bucknell University.

Woodland is a member of the North Penn United Way Allocations Committee, board member of St. Stanislaus CYO, Montgomery Township Little League Umpire, and has held various coaching positions at the Hatfield and Montgomery Twp Little Leagues and Montgomery Soccer Association.

Sarah Benson was promoted to Junior Credit Analyst. In her new position, Benson will perform credit analysis, reporting, and commercial underwriting.

Benson formerly served as Banking Center Representative at Victory Bank, Retail Banker at Woodforest National Bank, Head Teller at Univest National Bank, and Teller/Customer Service Associate at PNC Bank. Benson resides in Quakertown, PA.
